Come and explore some great backcountry skiing with H2O guide service in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture.
We will guide you through some of the best backcountry in Japan and introduce you to some amazing Japanese nature and traditional Japanese culture.
A one hour walk from the chairlift and some beautiful slopes, great nature and of course lightly deep powder is waiting for you. And what better way to finish off a day of backcountry skiing with a nice relaxing soak in one of the many famous Onsen (hot spring).
We mainly do private tour and use Ski Resort chairlifts to gain access to the Backcountry Areas.
Also, in Japan, most ski resorts do not allow off-piste skiing however if customers want we can arrange Off piste skiing at Ski Resorts that do allow this.Of course, due to easy access from the chairlifts into “Side-country” you can expect lots of people/tracks…
We will choose the location to which suits your physical condition and skiing or snowboarding skill.
You can choose accommodation, depending on your budget or taste. Traditional Japanese-style, Western-style, Hot Spring included etc…
We basically do multiple day backcountry tours.
